What I'm working on
I'm working on a few different projects at the moment, all different odds and ends as I learn more about the magical journey that is turning an idea into something that someone can use (and hopefully, improve their life).
Centori: Content strategy and writing services
Status: Full-time

This is my first real indiehacking project. I got the software bug after first learning to code and decided I wanted to build an SEO SaaS company. Yeah... I was a bit overly confident.
What I found along the way is that SEO SaaS sucks and doesn't solve the real problem for most people: SEO is hard. It takes a creative strategy and a lot of grunt work. So I scrapped the software and turned Centori into an SEO services and coaching business where I work one-on-one with clients to build their SEO strategies.
Woodchuck: Connecting gardeners with arborists for affordable, local mulch
Status: In Progress

When my wife and I took down 16 hemlock trees in our yard (they were not doing well), I learned two things:
- Trees generate a ton of mulch
- Arborists pay a lot of money to dispose of that mulch
So this is a thought experiment in beta: can I connect gardeners and homeowners with arborists to buy the mulch that they would otherwise pay excessive fees to dump?
T.W. Shirtmakers
Status: Researching/Infancy
For a while now, the majority of my clothing purchases have been thrifted rather than new. I can afford retail, but the price-to-quality ratio of clothing is way off from where it used to be.
I'm building this site in part to review and rate button-down shirts from different brands and decades, and to validate whether it would even be possible to manufacture affordable clothing to the standards we had in the 1990s and early 2000s.
To be frank, I have no idea where this is going to go. But I love to write and am taking this up as a new passion project.

The Green Alternatives: A directory of eco-friendly alternatives to everyday products
Status: Shut down

This passion project ran its course, and I had to shut it down for the sake of time. Still, I learned a lot from the experience and overall enjoyed it!
